Hi guys,

I have a sound definition in FMOD designer set to play back sequentially and want to have a repeated wavetable in the sound – i.e. play the sequence A, B, C, A, D, E, F when the def is repeatedly triggered.

When I try to add the wavetable to the sound for a second time it will appear in the sound defs tree hierarchy, but not in the Waveforms box, and on reloading the project it will have been removed. If I manually edit the FDP file I can add the second definition and it works fine, but obviously I’m wary of doing this for fear of breaking something…

Is this intentional or a UI bug? Any info would be much appreciated!

thanks,
george

Sounds like a UI bug – it works fine in the version of Designer I’m using – 4.31.03. Just copy and past the waveform in the left hand pane of sound defs and there you go. Still there on a reload.

What version are you on?

I’m using 4.32.03

I just tested this myselfl; it works fine if you add the wave via copy / paste, but doesn’t work if you drag and drop a wave in from explorer or use the "Add Wavetable" right click option, so this looks like a bona-fide UI bug.

Cheers,
g
