I was wondering if it’s possible to make a sound perform a keyoff automatically so that a event can trigger, hit a sustain point, and then, after a random duration, keyoff and play to the end.
Specifically I’d like to be able to do this to have a sound which has an intro, loops for a random duration between a pair of limits, then plays a tail without needing code to interfere.
If this isn’t currently a feature it’d be an extremely useful one to add to allow for much greater designer autonomy.
PS. I realize that a custom event (or wavedata) for every different duration would work, but that won’t work with my current workflow.
