Hello –
I am having trouble saving the markers I insert into mp3 files with Sound Forge 5.0. When I go to save the file with the markers, my only options for saving them are:

Do not save regions or playlist
Save Regions and Playlist as .SFL files
Save Regions only as session 8 .PRM files
Save as Windows Media Script .TXT files

If I choose to save the file as a wav instead of an mp3, then I am permitted to save the markers inside the RIFF Wav file.
Does anybody know how I might be able to save the markers in the mp3 file itself? Thanks.

Save it as a wav file with mp3 encoding? I don’t see that option. You can save it as either a wav or an mp3 in SF. And if you just rename the wav file with a .mp3 extension, then the file will still be huge. Maybe I misunderstand you?
