Hi,

The multiplesoundcard example creates two System objects, I was wondering if I could create each one in a different thread and have the two independent threads working concurrently with its own system object.

I need to get around the single thread problem with FMOD, as my audio capture needs to be done in its own thread (as there appears to be no callback mechanism for capture) I thought I could create a system object to do just capture in its own thread.

In some cases the system objects would be opening the same audio card.

Will this work?

Yes it should work – there is no connection between the 2, even if they’re using the same soundcard , as they would be internally referencing 2 different DirectSound objects for example.
