We have been unable to reproduce the problem here in our test environment and have had no similar reports from other developers. The reason I ask for logging is to determine if the problem is a crash of some kind (like the audio server dying) or a rogue interruption notification. We have seen weird interruption related bugs where the OS will halt audio and not bring it back, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about such cases (the problem is with the OS).

If you don’t wish to provide logging to help us investigate the issue further, or supply code that demonstrates the bug we will have to consider this issue closed as ‘cannot reproduce’. Without the ability to replicate the issue or any details about the nature of the audio stopping we are out of options.

In our opinion, this thing is not our job.
Because other company’s application occure too.
FMOD developer should check about it.

Please tell us why you should.

Can you link with the logging version of FMOD and post what is printed to the TTY when you take a snapshot that causes the sound to drop out.

I have just tested this case on our iPad, recently updated to 4.2.1 and I haven’t been able to reproduce any sound stopping issues.

Have you tried the latest version of FMOD (development branch)?
Can you reproduce the problem with one of our example applications?
