I’m new to FMOD and we are using the API for our EE first year Design Project in order to play sounds (not in the context of a game).
I was wondering if there was a function that returns true/false depending if there is a song currently playing available.

If you want to know if a sound has finished playing you could do a couple of different things. You could either poll the channel regularly, by calling Channel::isPlaying (this will give you a true or false), or you could set a callback via Channel::setCallback and watch for FMOD_CHANNEL_CALLBACKTYPE_END.
