Is there any way to make wav file sounds like scratched vinyl? When I use Frequency change to do it, it doesn’t sounds as good as I’d like to.

I tried this for a bit of fun, I simply dropped a picture box ona form, and captured the mouse movements when with left mouse button down. I used the amount of movement change in mouse direction(left-right) from when the mouse button was clicked (+/-) and used that value to change playing position in the stream, ensuring that you could not move the playing position outside a pre-defined time, say 2 seconds. When the mouse button is released you could either play from current position or skip to position when mouse button was pressed. The effect is OK, and you find yourself scratching with the mouse in a realistic fasion. Anybody interested , i could post the code in a few days if interested ?, the trick is how you handle the stream or sample!

I’d like to get your code and get to know how did you do it, because my effect isn’t quite good. 😉
