I’ve made up a Sound Definition using the Granular Synthesis as described in the manual, using the Spawn Time settings. However, in a Sound Event if I add a pitch parameter, the playback of the grains do not change accordingly. This is especially noticeable when going up in pitch as there are gaps between the sound. Is there another way I can either set up the Sound Definition and/or the Sound Events so that the playback of the grains changes accordingly?

I assume that while the pitch of the individual grains is changing, the frequency with which they spawn does not. If you want the rate at which sounds spawn to change as the pitch does, you will need to add a "Spawn Intensity" effect to the same layer and parameter as the pitch automation effect.
