Well, I’m writing a music application and it uses some
external programs that come with it. It loads the program’s tags
into a list in a menu. The programs are in a seperate folder.
You can name the program something different but the tag still
shows up. I also made it so that it won’t load any programs in
the list if they don’t have the right artist name.
I wrote a small program that can tag ANYTHING!!!
EXE, TXT( Not recommended!), MP3, MIDI, Probably WMA and
ASF also, BMP 😀
I can give you the source code for the OCX
All you have to do is add the user control to your
program and it will work.
Code is written in Visual Basic 6.0
I don’t know Delphi
I wouldnt suggest tagging WMA files in the ID3 format, there is a WMA tagging format that you should use. Neither should you tag any other files with ID3 other than MPEG files. Tagging EXE’s and other such files is worthless, why would you use a music tagging system on non-music files???
