Bret, I’am still having a hard time with CD functions. I’ve tried the new dll, and the StdCall dll as well. On executing this line of code…

[code:20jhsynq]
If FSOUND_CD_Play(0, curTrack) = 1 Then
[/code:20jhsynq]

Now I know that curTrack is equal to 1 when it goes to execute that line. At the point of exeuction the application locks up and stops responding, must be killed. It happens in both debug and release modes. I’ve tried just about everything I can think off.

Just for the record, the CD starts and plays. Even when I kill the application the CD continues to play. Only when i execute the application again and press the CD button does it kill the old one playing and start again.

Has anyone else written a player that has a CD mode and if so is thier player working ok? Note that it worked prefectly untill the newest fmod versions.

P.S. sorry so sloppy, but i’am beat and frurstrated.

I init and close often because I allow the user to toggle FFT and eq on and off. Through testing I found that if I turn FFT on, and then off without restarting FMOD, the system always used more CPU then it would if I had not turned FFT on, as a result I found that if you init close on every song it will always use the least amount of CPU. I have not tried this for awhile now since at least version 3.4, so you may have corrected this. I did bring it to your attention quite awhile ago now.

Anyhow cheers for such a speedy fix, greatly appreciated!!! :)
