Ok, I finally completed my oscilloscope callback for VB and finished my project with a nice equalizer and many dsp effect. Hope you like it!

Excellent.. nicely done. Not to mention by looking at your code I was able to fix a couple of my own problems :)

The only thing I’d ask to change is some verbose comments so I can learn from what you’ve done.

Thanks for the example!

Yeah, I know I should have commented more! :( If you have any questions just ask me.

That’s a dangerous offer! j/k

I do believe I’ll take you up on that, but not until after I can give your code a more thorough look, to see if I can’t answer some of my own questions. When I looked at it last I had specific sections I was looking for so I skipped over a decent amount of code.

One question I do have off-hand is why do you have shapes over top of the VU Meter & the Stereo VU Meter? Is it purely cosmetic or is there some deeper benefit?

Cheers,
Sterg

No, those are cosmetic, just for looks. I was going to replace the objects with API rectangles, but I never got around to it. lol.

Tried your exe, but must report it doesn’t size correctly on
my screen.

There is a bug in your player, if I set the buffersize to 100 the scope is only half drawn and if I set it to 50 Fmod will not be initialized.

You shouldn’t set it to 50, the hardware buffer might not be created correctly. And also, I have had no problem setting the buffer to 100, the scope is drawn fully.
