we integrate MacOS version of FMod in our application. All was fine until we failed our Apple Submission.

Here is the feedback we received :

[quote:24dhnwr1]Unsupported Architecture – Application executables may support either or both of the Intel architectures:

i386 (32-bit)
x86_64 (64-bit)

Other architectures may not be included in submitted binaries. Confirm that your Xcode project’s build settings include those architectures and no others.

Specifically, we found the following unsupported architectures in your binary:

ppc (in Squids.app/Contents/Frameworks/libfmodevent.dylib, Squids.app/Contents/Frameworks/libfmodex.dylib)[/quote:24dhnwr1]

What can we do to get Fmod’s lib without ppc code ?

Thx for your help

I wasn’t aware that Apple were rejecting apps with PPC code, although it makes sense since the App store only runs on Intel Macs.

If you take a look at the Getting Started guide there is a section at the end that describes how to remove the PPC code from the FMOD libs.
