I’m programming a game and I’m using the FMOD.DLL !
I use MP3 files for my background music.
Well – the music is changing often and I think I shouldn’t preload too much MP3 files.
So I’m loading some MP3 files in the game. My problem: It takes too long loading MP3 files for a fast change in the game.
Is there a function to load the MP3 WHILE it’s been playing? It loads the beginning – begins to play and while playing it should load the end!

You can load direct to Memory, thats pretty fast, but, it costs a lot of your Memory.
I don’t know if it is possible to stream a Mp3 blockwise, so your just loading
a part of the file, and if possible, i don’t know if fmod supports it…
How many sounds doyou have ?
Is it to much to load them all ?
