As I can see, nobody sent an answer, so I had to find a solution by myself.

But now I have an other problem:

If it is a mono sample, it works perfect. But if it’s not, it doesn’t work. In the general discussion, I see that if I use FSOUND_HW3D flag, it’s supposed to automatically forcemono, or something like that, but it still doesn’t work. So I tried to do it in software, without the FSOUND_HW3D, but with FSOUND_FORCEMONO flag, but if I do that, my program freeze.

Have an idea?

You are right, in order to position a 3D sound you have to open the song with the forcemono flag along with the HW3D flag. That should work good I think! 😀

If I use the ForceMono flag, my program freeze…

The error (in french, original):

Vb6 a provoqué une erreur dans FMOD.DLL.
Le programme Vb6 va maintenant être arrêté.

The error (in english, translated):

Vb6 caused an error in FMOD.DLL.
The Vb6 program will now be stopped.

What can I do?

Test your program out of the ide. if it doesn’t work, try the sdtcall version, it is the native calls for vb.

I found the problem:

It’s the version of FMod, if I use the 3.6 version, everything works fine, but if I use 3.61, there is the problem.

I know that I don’t have the latest 3.61 but when I tried to get the latest, Vb6 sent me an error with FMod. I think this is because the BAS file that I have isn’t “compatible” with the new DLL. So there is my question: Is it possible to get a newer version of the BAS file?
