I don’t need to play such data , just see it , mean is there any way to load
song into memory and then show it on timeline with it’s volume sinusoide.
How to get immediatly volume values for all positions ?

You don’t really need fmod to do this thing…
Just make a loader for wav files and load them into memory…

But it’s not that easy with mp3 files =)

to the op: load the file as a sample and use FSOUND_Sample_Lock to get to the pcm data.

hmmm…is there any good example of loading mp3 and showing such data ,
wav is not a problem but mp3 or ogg……

Yeah. That’s everything true, but I just want to say that it’s not a specific task of fmod and can be done without using a whole sound engine!
