I am running this on an IPAQ. I am trying to play a MP3 file, this works for
the evc version.

The following statement :
FSOUND_Stream_OpenFile(CommonDialog1.filename, FSOUND_2D, 0)

give me an error of
Error while opening file Error creating hardware sound buffer.

I have tried other parameters and have received different errors. Is there one that works for the IPAQ using evb?

Thanks

After looking at the program a little closer. I had the wrong code for the return error. It is returning file not found error. Could the api call that evb is making is not converting the string correclty. I have the api
call declared as Declare Function FSOUND_Stream_OpenFile Lib “fmod.dll” (ByVal filename As String, ByVal mode As Integer, ByVal memlength As Long) As Long, is this correct? This same call using the same location of the file for the evc version works. Could this declaration for the function be wrong?

Thanks

Got it working. It was a problem with the string that was being passed to the fmodce.dll. Created an evc wrapper, passed the string, from evb
to the wrapper and then converted the string to the proper format and it worked
