Programmer reports 96VBR mono oggs not looping seamlessly.
I’ve checked it out on various players but some enviros convert ogg to WAV or AIF so its not testing the ogg.
ANY suggestions

From what I understand its a Gap
similar to what happens when played on winamp or quiktime
All my loops begin and end with Zero crossing and are rendered in CUBASE SL WITH MIDI TIMING SO THE LENGTH IS RIGHT.
After that fades are dded to assist the loops playability.
Checked the loop with your players that come with your app and no problem.

I use Delta Audiophile 2496 as sound card but don’t know what he uses.
I have SBLIVE value also for testing but rarely use it.
I notice from forum that SBLIVE cards are a problem unless new drivers instaled

[quote="brett":3gt6hf5c]so the fmod player loops it ok? Well if thats the case then i cant see what is happening in your code. What is the difference?
fmod doesnt introduce gaps, and it is nothing to do with the sound card. fmod is soundcard independant when it comes to ogg decoding.

I just tested a sinewave with a click in the join and the new ogg support in fmod even removes the click![/quote:3gt6hf5c]

Thanks for the help I will see whats going on when i go here today.

Talked to programer and he thinks FMOD is great and the looping problem is something they are doing .
