Hi,

what could be the problem if there is no sound on Windows NT 4.0 SP6? By the way: FSOUND_OUTPUT_NOSOUND_NONREALTIME works, but the default output only produces slience.

Try FSOUND_SetOutput(FSOUND_OUTPUT_WINMM); before calling FSOUND_Init.

Should FMOD not choose FSOUND_OUTPUT_WINMM automatically when running on NT4?

I have many customers still using NT…I can’t test it myself. Maybe I have to check for NT and force FMOD to use WINMM…
