I have some problems using WMA streaming in our game. I´ve encountered the problem on several W2k, Win98 machines ranging from 500Mhz up to 1.4GHz. I have Mediaplayer7.1 installed.
The sound sometimes hacks, fragments (samples) are not heared. Sometimes it stops and hacks on the same place like a scratched CD. On occasions I don´t hear the sound at all.
Our game is single threaded and of course eats almost all CPU-cycles when running.
Do You think it´s a driver problem, FMOD problem or perhaps a sync problem (FMOD, doesn´t get enough CPU cycles).
