Hi,
Just wondering if there was a way to identify the sample format before saving the sample from a module file, so I can tag on the right header infomation for it.

I have it saving the samples pretty much done, but I’ve no idea what/how to classify the sample format infomation.

This is needed because, Mods have verious diferent file formats and some quite old for example, VOC / IFF

thanks for any help. :)

Okay why, cannot I save samples from tracker files, has there been some overt or coverted operation to provent saving samples from tracker files to inhibit a person from making software such as SamPull (Amiga) that exports all the instruments from a tracker file? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I should point out that I am using PB to access the fmod API, it’s very destressing since I’ve more or less at a break wall, do I have to manually load in the tracker file and pull the sample out by hand without the fmod API or is fmod upto the job?

I looked at lock sample but it doesn’t make much sence to me, the documentation for it is (with all due respect) lacking in detail.

Any help would be since, thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ˜•
