Hi,

I’m new to fmod, i only worked with xaudio.
If anybody could make me understand :
– how i use 2 soundcards in delphi, because :

when i use “fmoddyn”, with load/unload function, i noticed fmod first call “unload” :

{ Make sure the previous library is unloaded }

FMOD_Unload;

I need to work with 2 soundcards in the same time.

If i initialize like this :

FSOUND_SetOutput(FSOUND_OUTPUT_DSOUND);
FSOUND_SetDriver(_SOUNDCARD_1);

FSOUND_SetOutput(FSOUND_OUTPUT_DSOUND);
FSOUND_SetDriver(_SOUNDCARD_2);

… basically is the same object, and the sound is routed to only one soundcard.

…My question is : how to make independent objects of “fmod” ?

… seems to me only one way … modify all functions from
FSOUND_xxx to FSOUND_1_xxx / FSOUND_2_xxx in 2 independent files (fmod1.pas, fmod2.pas, etc) and use FMOD_1 for first soundcard, FMOD_2 for 2th soundcard.

10x for your time/informations,
Daniel.
