hi there..
I have some probleme loading a sample in mp3 format.
The code is runnng fine with wav, but if I switch to mp3 files, I’ve got a nasty Access Violation during the Sample_Load… Do I have to do something special to tell Fmod Im using a mp3 ??
here is my code
[code:3raf4e8y]my_sound = FSOUND_Sample_Load(FSOUND_UNMANAGED, filename, NULL, NULL);[/code:3raf4e8y]

thx

Usig ogg everything is ok…. expept that loading&depacking 23 ogg take REALLY a long time (I did not mention that I’m using a smartphone)
Do you think Loading&depacking 23 Mp3 (they are small files) would be faster ?

By the way, I can’t manage to replay .mid file on my smartphone, is this normal ?

thanks for the answer !
I’ve done it with simple .wav

By the way, ADPCM wav didnt play at all when I tried… (but i did not look further, because i’ve already released my work :))

yes, thats right, i was using the small lib, that’s why ADPCM did not work. I’ve fought that the small fmodce handles ALL wav format. However the difference between small and full fmodce is 150kb, so, it’s a hard choice !
