I was curious if anyone has tried to integrate Fmod with the directPlay streaming voice technology, or if these two entities were even compatible. I know Win32 Fmod has directX connections, I just wasn’t sure how deep these connections went.

Haven’t had a close look at it yet but as long as DirectX allows you to access the sound buffers before outgoing data is sent and after incoming data is received then it shouldn’t be too hard to route it all through an FMOD dsp chain at either end.

I’d be interested to hear if anyone’s tried anything like this too…
