Hi :)

just a little question to pocket PC fmod users:
I have some mods playing in my pocket PC using fmod and I have the impression that low-pitched sounds are almost inperceptible in front of
high-pitched tones, which are a lot more “present” than they are in the PC player (both fmod and winamp)
In fact I’m getting headache when testing a little game due to high-pitched sounds, I hate them 😉

does anybody have a similar experience with that? It’s a matter of fmod, fault of pocket pc cheap speaker or it’s just my ears? :)
TIA
Kak

ok, thanks. What I’ve done is modifying the .it file so that high pitch samples are extremely low so that low pitch samples have an oportunity to be heard :)

Haven’t touched anything about the mixer, so I suppose it’ll be in high quality. I’ll have a look at it.

btw, I had some problems with fmod 3.62 ce when loading samples from memory: some samples reported “file not found” with FSOUND_LOADMEMORY specified. However in 363 ce this problem seems to be fixed, but I haven’t found any reference in the changes: a side effect from a fix maybe?

regards :)
Kak
