Imagine I play a soundfile on a free-channel (automatically selected) and store it’s channel-number.
Sometime later I want to stop that file, so I stop the stored channel-number from playing.

The problem with that is:
If the file has already been stoped earlier, its channel was freed and maybe some other sound was played on that channel. So this other sound
is now stopped, which is NOt good 😉 !!!

Is there a way to avoid this problem? Maybe to check if a sample is playing (then I’d know that I can stop its channel)??
Thanks!!!

You could call FSOUND_GetCurrentSample with the channel you are testing and can compare the returned pointer to your sample.
