I’am using MiniFmod in an application of mine and would like to know if it’s possible to change the output volume.
I’ve already tried everything but can’t get it to work, so if anyone knows how to do it then please let me know.

Greets,

Dumb, dumb, dumb 😡

I looked over this line:
FSOUND_Software_SetVolume(&FSOUND_Channel[channel], (int)finalvol);

But thanks for the reply Brett, it got it working now!

Ok, now I can change the volume of the output before the module is playing, but after that it does only change when a new order of the module is started.

Is there a way to update the volume in realtime?

I’m also interested in how to change the volume while playing. So if anyone knows, please!

Look at the following source line (in Fmusic.c):

[code:3hdyaq7e]hr = waveOutOpen(&FSOUND_WaveOutHandle, WAVE_MAPPER, &pcmwf, 0, 0, 0);[/code:3hdyaq7e]

Save that HWAVEOUT pointer (or even return it from FMUSIC_PlaySong) and use it anytime you want to change the volume through WINMM: waveOutSetVolume API function.
