Hi All,

Ive got a very basic problem,
I load sound fx with :-
FSOUND_SampleLoad(FSOUND_FREE, FileName, 0, 0);

and music with :-
FMUSIC_LoadSong(FileName);

both files are in the program directory, but the music returns NULL and the sound fx loads fine, Im confused, anyone any ideas on what is wrong? 😥

Also is it possible to load from the visual c++ resource file?

Thanks, Ive double checked the filenames and both are in the same format and correct, yet the music returns NULL, its a .xm file provide by an external musician, are there any tools to verify the format is ok for the device? maybe it is unplayable?

Ive solved it now, being new to FMOD I called FSOUND_Init() before I loaded the sound fxs but AFTER I loaded the music. 😳 I knew it would be something stupid.
