I have not downloaded FMOD yet, though I looked over it’s documentation and it seems like a robust audio soloution. It’s is far easier to do Multichannel sample-based audio than calling the DirectX API by hand. I was just wondering if there was “Stream to Disk” functionality. If I decide to use FMOD, which I prob. will, I would be using it to develop custom audio apps for personal use and would greatly appreciate being able to export what I am doing to a WAV file for use in other apps. Does FMOD have native support for this sort of fucntionality?

Thanks in advance for any pertinant resonses.

Yep, maybe you can also use the Non-Realtime feature of fmod if you don’t need to hear what you are streaming to disk. It also results in a great speed increase when saving to disk…
