Hi

I need to scan an mp3 for its different kbps sizes. So i would end up with a table that holds each VBR (32,48..448) for each frame.

I need this to determine how big the biggest frame size is in the actual mp3 file. Also to implement a visual graph that show the different uses of kbps, when playing. Like the grapgh you see in vdub’s ‘Video’ tab when encoding divx or xvid files. Something like this:

Hope any1 can help

Thanks in advance.

PS.
So far i’ve made a crude implementation of a mp3-scanner that searches for the mp3 header ‘xFFF’, and i roughly assume its a valid header.. this kinda works.. in a crude way.. very inaccurate.. i can post the code later
