In fact, Fmod have problems with reaching the end of a song. Why not adding a flag to the FMUSIC_IsFinished and when the song loop, + 1 is added so we can know the song looped (like Midas does).

I’ve noticed that too, but then even WinAmp has problems with songs that jump to a previous pattern before they reach the end of the song. These songs were never meant to end, hence the jump. So is FMOD correct in the way it handles these songs or is Midas correct in its method?

My example MOD is Possessed By A Track by u4ia. WinAmp calculates the song duration as something like 262,000 minutes and FMOD never sets the flag that the song is finished because it loops before the last pattern. What is the correct way to detect this? Is there a correct way because the song was never meant to end.

I ve an idea : why not scanning all row from the beginning to the end and set the flag when you find the last Pattern Break effect ? When the song is playing just test if the song reached the position where you find this break.
