After a call to FSOUND_PlaySound, is there a way to detect when the file has finished playing? I know I can check for FSOUND_IsPlaying, but if I do that, I’d have to put it in an infinite loop, which puts the cpu-load on 100%. What I actually would like is the FSOUND_PlaySound to only return after the file has finished playing, but since that’s not the case, an event that tells me the file is finished, would be nice…

Yep, I replaced it by a sleep… So I can also play wav-files through a stream?
