😥 I am trying to run a ParamEQ in VB. The FX_Enable is not working. I use the Fsound_SoundPlayEx(Fsound_Free,soundhandle,NULL,TRUE) , but on running VB gives me an error report on the Invalid use of NULL. How can I solve this? I have Direct X 9 so the FX should work. if i can get the Play to work correctly, i think I will get there

Yeah, I think you should use vbempty instead of null. I’m pretty sure that’s what I had to do.

Thank you .. I didnt think that anyone would actually reply . . I mean, what do you guys gain? . .

I used VbEmpty instead. I got no run time error for sure. But the stream doesnt play. Well, if there is anything more you know, let me know. I’m still trying. I really want to create an EQ.

Oh yeah, are you trying to do an EQ and spectrum analyzer as well?? Because if you are than you should look at the faq’s because there is a topic about how to do it right. I’ve done it but I forget how it’s done, I think it’s by using the FSOUND_INIT_ENABLEOUTPUTFX flag in Fsound_init, and then ebabling the EQ using the FMOD system channel.
