I’m newbie so I have a lot of questions… ๐Ÿ˜›

GetDriverName gives me names of outputs… (Output 1+2, Output 2+3 etc.)
GetOutput gives me a driver name…. (Windows Mutlimedia, ASIO)

Am I wrong?

Also…
When I use ASIO – How can I decide which audio output I’m gonna use like with Windows Multimedia driver? My soundcard’s ASIO driver gives me 9 hardware outputs and it’s multiclient ASIO driver – yes I can run more than one ASIO application at the same time if I use different outputs.

There is a tool called “asioconfig.exe” in the “tools” directory wich seems to be interesting for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

It calls ASIO Panel, when I can change soundcard (buffer etc.) parameters, not inputs/outputs. It should be set in the application.

[url:jwoyhdsh]http://www.martinfay.com/openasio.htm[/url:jwoyhdsh] and [url:jwoyhdsh]http://www.axiworld.be/asio.html[/url:jwoyhdsh] – that’s what I’ve found. Maybe there’s a chance to implement ‘more’ ASIO in FMOD? ๐Ÿ˜‰

[quote:1kzzvk9n]Only fmod4 is adding new stuff. It will have full multichannel output asio support[/quote:1kzzvk9n].

it seems that I have the same questions about asio;
I tried to play stereo streams on diferent channels of my asio card, and it works well…. until channel 9!
trying to play after this channel is giving an output on channel 1 of the card;

Is the current version correcting what you was writing in 2003? or do we have to wait more time?

Thanks for your feedback
