I understand how to use SetVolume but that seems to only affect a playing sound. I have multiple entities with sound effects. How would I raise or lower the volume for all sound effects, while leaving the music volume the same? I have channels 2-20 reserved for sound effects, but using Sample_SetDefaults only effects one sound. Would I have to loop through all sound effects and set the volume level for each sound, or is there an easier way to just change the volume level for a channel, even if it doesn’t have anything playing at the time?
BTW, I’m using win32 on msvc++.

Yeah, I’m using FSOUND_Stream for my Background music. I’ve looked into using FSOUND_SetSFXMasterVolume, but like you said, it also changed the volume of my Music. Thanks for the recommendation about SetVolumeAbsolute. I’m going to go try that now.
