Hi Brett/Andrew,

Quick question: Is it possible (and easy) to add a function into fmod to clone stream handles? The reason is because using MPEGACCURATE takes a little while to parse the stream first and I want to be able to open the SAME stream multiple times with the MPEGACCURATE time taken ONLY on the first opening.

Is it possible you could add a function into vers 3.71 to do this? Is there an easy way I can clone the table built up by the first MPEGACCURATE opening for each subsequent stream?

Sorry to be a pain but this would really make what we are doing just that little bit more efficient in some cases.

Kindest Regards,

[code:2h5n7tdy]
static int firstOpen = 0;

if (!firstOpen)
{
// MPEGACCURATE
...
firstOpen = 1;
} else {
// NORMAL
}
[/code:2h5n7tdy]

Interesting Karl. Would not work though unless all the timing information is sourced from the main first stream which might be pretty tricky.

Shame Brett, maybe a feature for fmod 4.0 ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tried it out of curiosity Karl and it is not possible to get accurate timing information for subsequent streams in this way ๐Ÿ˜ Oh well, not a major issue anyway. Would still be nice though Brett ๐Ÿ˜‰
