Hi,
I’m using WinXP and trying to implement Echo and Reverb, but the documentation says that the FX routines are only for Win32s.

I would like to know if there is a way to create those effects for WinXP.
I’m using “FSOUND_Stream_Open” to play files.

I’m using Delphi and FMOD 3.71

Thanks in advance.

Windows XP is a Win32, Win32 is just a 32-bit version of Windows. And unless your Windows XP is 64-bit than it should work fine.

in what sence ?

As far as I know, Win95/98/98SE/Me are Win32, WinNT/2000/XP are WinNT.

… or that remark in the help file is for all Windows versions ?

I just asked because the Delphi FMOD demo is not updated, like the C demo is (no Echo, Reverb, Preverb or internet streaming) so, I have no idea on how to use the FX :(

I know FMOD for some time now, but I just could not make a few effects working with Delphi.

Too bad I don’t have Win98 for testing.

Well, as far as I know Win95/98/SE/ME are all Win9x versions. Win32 just refers to whether the operating sytem is 32-bit.
