Hmmm, that default skin needs help! Try using a different editor when making skins, like Photoshop, or an alternative to photoshop called GIMP, find it at [url:2bmztym2]http://www.gimp.org[/url:2bmztym2].

Yeah, I agree with you. But Tim says he loves it. I hate it, I only made
it as a quick fix, but it stayed. Any way, I’ts only a beta version :)

I have a nice skin I’m working on, I think I’ll make it the default skin.

You mean you were actually able to run it? I remmember you always
had problems with those other versions. How is the interface? Do you like
it?

Hehe, actually I haven’t even downloaded it yet. I just looked at the screenshot. Yeah, I had problems getting it to work last time, the skin wouldnt load and it ended up freezing my computer, I’ll see if this build has the same problems for me.

EDIT: I just installed it and tried it out, and it works fine this time!

I updated my player with a new skin. Yeah, I got rid of that thing.
Anyway, Ive been trying to add Volume Leveling. Ive gotten it to
work somewhat. Should I use AccurateLevels (does this cause slow
loading time)? And also has any one done anything with beat detection
yet???? Mine does not work well!!!!! :)

Yes, I have tryed that one before and it is excellent, however
I prefer to have it built into my player, not as a separate control.

Actually, nci, I would recommend using a vector based graphics app, like Paint Shop Pro. With Photoshop, you create your skin and you just have the static pixel data and it isn’t dynamically generated like with Paint Shop Pro. Make sure that you get version 8.1 though.

I am also working on a similar project with my twin brother. We're calling it CDB Player, but that is only a tentative title. We developed it using Delphi. We aren't working on it much right now since we are starting college soon and we have a full-time job. So we don't have much time on our hands :D
We are thinking about dropping the project though, since we have a much much larger project in the works. So we don't know what we will do with it right now. I am thinking about making it open source and providing it to the fmod community, but my brother doesn't know what he wants to do with it.

We have a preview of the skin hosted on our website [url=http://www.cdbsi.com:3farp8wn]www.cdbsi.com[/url:3farp8wn]. Check it out and tell us what you think.

I think your skin looks cool. I actually used various programs
to create our new skin. Including Paint shop pro, paint, and Photostudio

Check out the new skin if you haven’t seen it yet:
