How do I make sounds in my C++ program that uses OpenGL? I posted this question on the OpenGL forums, and people directed me here.

Try to download the FMOD archive, read the examples provided in the samples directory and read the documentation, it could be usefull …

ya, I’m an intern at id software, but the team doesn’t use fmod, plus john carmack and john romero are too busy w/ D3. (and jc has had the flu for a week)

If you’re going to spin a story about being an intern at id, then get your facts right first. John Romero has not worked for id for a long time. After creating Ion Storm (and producing the woeful Daikatana), he is now head of Monkeystone Games making games for portable devices.

Is that your off-sider?

Damn you! :)

I think he needs more work assigned to him, Brett.
