Basically, in my program I need to playback the sound out of an AVI file. OK, use FSOUND_Stream_OpenFile thinks I. Doesn’t work. Hmmm … I was sure that would work. And in fact it does in the examples …. I finally tracked it down to my file callbacks.

Basically, whenever I install my file callbacks, I can’t play AVI audio anymore (presumably because the AVI player can’t accept raw data and having file callbacks means that’s all FMOD can provide?).

I assume I can work around this by removing my callbacks, opening the AVI stream, then reinstalling them … buts its a bit hacky! Shouldn’t FMOD recognise that some files (ASF, AVI…) never use callbacks?
