killsound = FSOUND_Sample_Load(FSOUND_FREE,”kill.mp3″,FSOUND_LOADMEMORY,0);

What’s wrong with that code? The compilation doesn’t fail, but I’ve checked and I know that the FSOUND_Sample_Load() fails. Hence, no sound when I want it.

What’s wrong? The stream version works, but I want this one.

It seems you are using an older version of FMOD, try this :

[code:4gz58dwd]
killsound = FSOUND_Sample_Load(FSOUND_FREE,"kill.mp3",FSOUND_NORMAL,0,0);
[/code:4gz58dwd]

KarlKoX: When I use your code I get the error that FSOUND_Sample_Load doesn’t take five parameters. My code at least compiles :/

brett: Could you give me a code sample that I could use without that little delay I get with the stream version? I’m new to this sort of C++ (I’ve only made simple stuff before) and this is very urgent since my school project I make this for should be done by Monday!

Any help appreciated a lot!
