Hello,

First of all, I’m french so please forgive me for my mistakes in english … 😀 .

I have a question about the various licenses of fmod :
In order to complete my studies in computer science, I have to work for an enterprise. So I’m developing a small sound software for this small enterprise (less than 15 employees), which is not a “computer science” enterprise, but which activity is about communication, media, and congress. What they want is a software to mix sounds for their congress or parties : a simple way to mix songs (which rights are paid) and their own jingles. The software won’t be sold to other companies, and will remain the property of the enterprise which will use it only for the shows.

So I’d like to know if I could pretend to the “software” Windows license (100$) because the enterprise is not very rich, they already have to pay for a Visual Studio License, and I won’t probably be paid for my work (I’m the only informatician in the place).

Thanks for answering
Tom Sawyer

uh, fmod is free for personal use and freeware apps.
But if you want, you can pay firelight technologies $100 bucks
for it. I’m sure brett won’t mind :)
