I am very new to sound programming, but have
what I believe should be a simple need.
I would like to be able to read ulaw voice
audio out of a UDP socted and dump it to the sound card as packets come in.
I would like to use C++ builder for this application.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Mike

It is PCM data! I guess I should have been clear.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for your reply. Let me see if I understand this correctly!

As you can see, I know very little about sound programming. I will be getting raw DS0 data from a T1 stream. All I know is that
it is u-law encoded. I can make the packets/buffers any size we need. I can
setup a function to save several buffers before we tell fmod to play anything.

I can setup a callback function to feed the buffers when fmod wants them….

So, it should work, right?
