Hello world, how to get the total time or size and the elapsed time of a aWav or Mp3 file with FmodApi?
And do you really think that I can make a veritable audio sequencer software like Cubase or Cakewalk with FmodApi?
Maybe it’s not do for this?

Big thanks for your efforts and your works.

Yes, you can do a sequencer but note that FMOD wasn’t coded for such use.
Btw, there is a [b:3b0jpwer]documentation[/b:3b0jpwer] in the fmod archive.

Hello world!!!
Thanks, thanks for your answer.

OK, Fmod wasn’t coded to make an audio sequencer,
so, where can I find a library to do this?
And why not, a library for a midi sequencer too?

Big thanks !!!

You have a plenty of opensource projects in SourceForge[/url:1a3qubi2] and FreshMeat[/url:1a3qubi2].
There is a “search” function in both site.

Thanks, thanks for your answer.
OK, I saw it wasn’t so easy to make a sequencer.
But, I want to start make one anyway.
I think to start with a midi sequencer, it seems me simplest than an audio sequencer.

So, can you tell me how to get the number of tracks in a midi file?
And where I can find an api about the midi files structure?

Big thanks for all!!!
