When my app loses focus, we want to pause the sound system, then resume when we regain focus.

I haven’t seen an fmod API that will do that…

So I need to be able to pause all playing sounds, then resume them. The caveat is that any sound that was paused previous to the “all pause” should NOT get resumed. So using FSOUND_ALL to resume won’t work for me; I have to keep track of exactly which sound channels got paused together.

I can get the number of playing sounds, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to iterated through each playing channel. I’m thinking of maintaining my own list of playing sounds, but this is not very efficient.

Any ideas on the best way to handle pausing/resuming the sound system?

I was so used to using the channel handles, I didn’t realize I could use the channel indexes as well for the API.
