FYI – The Latest release of Windows CE – with the PocketPC 2002 Specification only supports ARM & x86 Processors. As I read the spec, this is by design… which I am surprised since earlier versions, and specifically the PocketPC 2000 included support for MIPS, ARM, SH, and x86. Bret are the people you are talking to at MS saying that there will be support for the SH & MIPS? Cause the way I read the spec it appears that to be PocketPC 2002 compliant device the device must have an ARM or x86 processor. Anyone else got any info on this?

Yeah, I heard from Cutter.
In the meantime, I playing around with a custom stream. Btw, doesn’t WMA/ASF include MIDI support by optinally embedding a GM compatible sample set? If so, you should even get “sort of” MIDI support through the backdoor….
