I am run-time-linking to FMOD from an environment other than C, VB, or Delphi. For some reason it can’t even find the FSOUND_Init function, so i assume that the DLL didn’t load. btw I have successfully linked to the 2 other DLL’s i have attempted with the same language. is there something unusual about the FMOD DLL?

The names of the functions in the DLL have “@12” and similar bits after their names.

Hopefully this will be rectified for FMOD4, eh Brett? :)

Calling convention is not what I meant. Isn’t there some way to have the preceding underscore and the trailing “@” and number not be present in the function names in the DLL? There was a discussion about this a long time ago in this forum. Couldn’t do that in the 3.xx series due to backwards compatibility.

Found the earlier thread. It mentions a .DEF file to export the correct function names.
