I have a problem with my project. I use FModEx dll with C++ Builder 6.
I have included “fmod.hpp” file in the principal Form and I have added to the project the files : fmodex.dll and fmodex_bc.lib
But at the linking operation, there is an error for each function of fmod :
Unresolved external … the name of the function.
This type of error become currently when a file with the body of the functions is laking. But I don’t know what file is laking.
Can you help me ?
Thank you by advance

I think that I haven’t understand again the mean of “C interface”.
In fact, you didn’t speak about a graphic interface. I’m sorry, my english is not very good, and I have made some mistakes in my translation 😳 . So I have believed that you said me to make my application in a DOS aspect 😮 .
I have read the *.c files of the fmod samples, and I have compared it to the cpp files. I have understand (finally) what you explained me.
So I’m really sorry to have taked your time because of my follies.
I’m sorry. I have read this topic but I have not understand the relation with my problem.
So I have read it again, and if I have well understand this time, I can’t use the fmod dll directly with c++ builder. But I don’t understand the other way that you propose.
Can you explain me your solution ?
Thank you Brett for your answers.
I will use the version 3 of fmod, which run with Builder.
May be, you will work on a C++ non MS compilers version of the fmod.
At this time, don’t forget to contact me 😉
Thank you again for your answers and for the fmod lib.
