I am currently working on a game project and want to give players the option to provide their own mp3 files to listen to while they play. Just like in the PC version of GTA 3 where all you had to do was put mp3 files in a folder and they would play on the Mp3 radio station. Is there a way to have fmod read in the names of all files in a given folder to be saved as a playlist? Or even just play the files in the folder in sequence. I know there is a way to do this in C++ but fmod is so simple I figured I’d try and use it first if it has this capability. If it doesn’t I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do this in C++ if anyone knows how.
I am using Windows XP and have Directx 9.0c
