No, more like markers available in the Event Editor – to put in (like a curve) and assign for different events. Would be very effective to if you would like to build wav setups where different parts of the sound should be played based on a set of rules.
Say I want to make a system for footsteps where the distance between the sound of heel and foot hitting ground is possible to modulate from ingame parameters. Preferrable something that a Sound Designer (SD) set from within the Event Editor and so hear an estimate of what it will sound like. Marking the start of heel and foot sound with markers and assigning these markers specific identities would make it easy to communicate these preperties between SD and Sound Programmer.
