I’m going to make some assumptions here, which I’ll state.
Since you’re asking about total output volume, I assume you’re talking about 3D sounds, which could be attenuated, obstructed, occluded, etc. The function you want to look at is:
Now, with frequency there’s two places to get that, which could provide you with slightly different results. Have a look at:
The former will get the actual playing frequency of the sound, so if you set up any frequency variations through FMOD::Sound::setVariations(), or if you explicitly set the frequency through FMOD::Channel::setFrequency(), then that’s what that will return. The latter will give you the actual frequency of the file (by default), or whatever value you give it through FMOD::Sound::setDefaults().
